Dr. Amon Mkoga Foundation is a charity organization established by the Tanzanian Musician Amon Mkoga (a.k.a Dr. Amon) with the purpose of helping underprivileged people, living with different social problems.
The foundation was established in 2011, it is registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act of 2002 by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender and Children in Tanzania.
First Charity Ball
The Dr. Amon Mkoga Foundation Charity Ball, which was first held on November 16th, 2011 in Dar es Salaam. Its main goal was to raise funds in order to build a school in Tabora and succeeded to raise Tsh. 20,000,000.

Many famous faces from the country were here to contribute to this success. Thanks to the Charity Ball and the auctions, the Foundation was able to raise this amount to build the school in Tabora. Our Goal
Our goal is to provide support based on financial, material and educational to the poor community living in Tanzania in order to engage changes for better future. This initiative intends to develop more structure and assist people buildup the ability to overcome daily living challenges through the following arena.
